Cinda led a class of graduate students to Uppsala University in Uppsala, Sweden in August. Uppsala University is the oldest university in Scandinavia. The course was a study of comparative education and social policy. Cinda met with scholars, policy makers, human service workers and citizens, learning more about the differences in health care and education in Sweden and the US. She and her students learned about health care, higher education, social supports for those in need and current issues of concern to the citizens in Sweden. Cinda plans to return in 2015 to teach this course again. Sweden is a wonderful country and this was a fantastic experience!
